Ira Glass believed that “great stories happen to those who can tell them” and Terry Prachett  insisted that “people think that stories are shaped by people when, in fact, it’s the other way around.”

So much happens to each of us on any given day that unless you’re not paying attention it is really quite difficult to not find a story, lesson, analogy or observation in our otherwise dreary and mundane lives.  I guess that’s how I’ve found myself here, writing a blog on nothing in particular but rather letting life spin the roulette-wheel of ridiculousness and sharing the result.

Although Mark Twain said that you should “never let the truth get in the way of a good story”, if we’re really honest with ourselves we would probably see that everything could really fall into the category of “that story is so ridiculous it simply has to be true.”

I just called
I’m just calling to tell you a really long story.
